Will Dowd reads from his book, Areas of Fog, a collection of lyric essays touching on literature, history, and the vicissitudes of New England weather–and presents slides on his artwork. Book signing will follow.
Will was born in Braintree, Massachusetts. He earned a B.A. from Boston College, as a Presidential Scholar; an M.S. from MIT, as a John Lyons Fellow; and, an M.F.A. in Creative Writing from New York University, as a Jacob K. Javits Fellow. His writing and art have appeared in numerous magazines. He lives in the Boston area.
